Type Battle

TypeBattle is a real-time typing battle game. Every word you type is a strike, a troop or a spell, and your opponent is typing against you at the same moment. No download, no sign-up: open it, pick a name and fight.

⚔️ Blade Duel Two duelists, one sentence, best of three rounds.

• Every word you finish becomes a sword strike. Long words cleave, streaks leap and spin.
• Strike at the same moment as your rival and the blades clash.
• One typo breaks your guard, and their next hit is a critical.
• Finish the sentence first, or knock them out, to win the round with a cinematic finishing move.
• Win a round without a single typo and your character unleashes their own Ultimate:
  • Thousand Cuts: the ronin's cuts appear one by one in paper and ink.
  • Golden Tempest: Gilded Blossom's storm of gold.
  • Crimson Crescent: Crimson Shade's blood-moon slash.
• Six stages, each with its own weather: Dusk Shrine, Moonlit Bamboo, Snowy Pass, Storm Cliffs, Cherry Courtyard and Burning Castle.

🐒 Classic War Type the word stream to earn energy. Then type a name to summon it.

• 8 troops (monkeys, archers, knights, healers, ninjas, gorillas, catapults, dragons) and the colossal Titan.
• 7 spells: fireball, freeze, rage, wall, banana, heal and shield.
• 5 hexes to mess with your opponent's screen: fog, mirror, scramble, darkness and reflect.
• 56 fusions: type two troops as one word (knightdragon!) to fuse them into a monster.
• 5 maps with twists: Jungle Temple, Desert Ruins (sandstorms), Frozen Peaks (slippery ice), Volcano Isle (eruptions) and Night Swamp (darkness).

🔁 Clash Rounds Build your army, send it into the clash, give orders (push, hold, retreat, fire) and watch it play out in slow motion.

• Temple Trail: a solo campaign of 10 boss temples across 5 lands, up to 3 stars each.
• Quick match against real players, or practice against bots (easy, medium, hard).
• Private battles: send a friend the link. Others can watch as spectators.
• Training camp: a 2-minute tutorial with Coach Coco.
• Optional sign-in for a rating, a place on the leaderboard, a profile and coins. Guests can play everything.
• Earn coins in online battles and the campaign, and spend them on character skins. Skins and ultimates are cosmetic only: nobody can buy power.

🎮 How to play

1. Click Play. The game opens in a new tab.
2. Type your battle name and choose Blade duel, Classic or Clash rounds.
3. Find an opponent, practise against a bot, or make a private battle for a friend.
4. Type. Fast, and clean.

Needs a physical keyboard. On phones you can watch battles.
